If we identified any non-complaint deficiencies, we will provide you a recommendation. The code is written that any inoperative hardware, parts or other defective items shall be replaced without delay.   This doesn’t mean that it has to be fixed the same day. It just means that we need to have a plan in order to get the door complaint. When we have completed any repairs to bring the door into compliance, we will then re-certify the opening to be compliant.

We maintain all completed reports for you in case your Authority Having Jurisdiction needs documented proof that the testing has been done and any deficiency has been corrected. Records of acceptance testing shall be retained for the life of the assembly and periodic inspections are retained for 3 years.

Having a fire door inspection company that is trained and qualified on all aspects of fire, smoke and egress doors is crucial. We have more certified Door Hardware Institute (DHI) inspectors and technicians that all other companies combined. Giving you the peace of mind that we are here to be your strategic partner making sure all your fire and life safety needs are met.
